I bought this poncho as an alternative to a raincoat for a trip to The Faroe Islands this Spring. It was totally waterproof and the fleece lining kept it nice and warm. I liked that I could wear a small backpack underneath it while hiking and the pockets are big enough to hold my water bottle, which weighs it down in case it’s super windy. Extremely happy with my purchase; ideal for Spring or Fall.

I am usually pretty doubtful about rain gear and if it’s actually waterproof. I can say this poncho is completely waterproof! I wore it for 6 hours outside in the freezing rain and it held up the entire time. It covered both me and my backpack with ease. I’m excited to continue wearing it and seeing how it does in the Summer rain.
